I'm a mum, a sister, a friend, a survivor, a woman of faith, and someone who is learning what it means to live a life that actually feels like mine.
For a long time, I thought I was doing everything I was supposed to do. I built a successful career, started businesses, bought my home, became a wife and spent years being the dependable one. The one who figured things out. The one who kept going.
From the outside, I suppose it looked like I had built a pretty good life.
But somewhere along the way, I had lost parts of myself.
In 2026, my marriage ended. And as everything began to unravel, I also began to understand that things I had normalised, excused and blamed myself for were not normal. I started learning about domestic abuse, coercive control and the many ways abuse can exist without leaving something visible for other people to see.
That realisation changed a lot for me.
But this isn't a website about the person who hurt me.
It's about the woman I found when I started choosing myself.
Hi, I’m PIppa.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
THE STORY IS STILL BEING WRITTEN
I used to think healing meant going back to the person I was before. Now I know it’s about getting to know the woman I am today, and giving her the life she deserves.
what i’m unlearning
People pleasing
Tolerating what hurts me
Explaining myself endlessly
Believing I’m too much
Carrying everything alone
what i’m choosing
Self-trust
Boundaries
Joy
Creativity
Adventure
A softer, freer life
WHY I’M SHARING THIS
BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT ALONE.
I started sharing my journey because I know what it feels like to feel confused, to question yourself, and to wonder if what you’re experiencing is normal. If my story helps even one woman feel seen, a little more understood, or braver in choosing herself, than that’s worth it.
